Nottingham-based gaming machine producer Bell-Fruit Games has recently acknowledged long service milestones achieved by three of its employees. Final Assembly Manager Bob Wilson, Electronics Hardware Engineer Simon Howells, and Technician Roy Morris have each clocked up 25 years’ loyal service with the firm. The three workers were pictured at the factory this week using a brand new digital camera that Roy had chosen as his commemorative gift from the company.

Commenting on the commitment shown by the three long-standing colleagues, Bell-Fruit Managing Director John Austin said: “I am delighted to help celebrate Bob, Simon and Roy’s 25 years’ service with the company. It is difficult to put into words how proud I am and how humbling it is to be at the helm of a company that has so many long-serving and loyal employees.”

Bell-Fruit has an enviable track record when it comes to retaining staff. Its latest service record shows that of the current workforce, 33 per cent have been there for more than 20 years; 27 per cent for more than 25 years; 23 per cent for more than 30 years; 12 per cent for more than 35 years; and three per cent for longer than 40 years.

The long service records are likely to take on even more significance in July this year when Bell-Fruit Games officially marks its 50th year in the business. The historic Golden Anniversary will be commemorated with a high-profile celebration in June.
