Nigel French joins Sound Leisure

10/04/2013

Sound Leisure is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel French as business development manager.

Nigel first joined the industry back in the 1980s when he worked for PCM/Whitbreads as a service engineer. He then worked as a technician on the cruiseliners before joining York Coin Leisure. Nigel moved to sales when he joined Photo Me International, where he was Commercial Manager for eight years.

“Since Alan Meats retired last year we have been looking for a suitable candidate to join our sales team to help develop both UK and International sales,” says Chris Black, Sound Leisure Managing Director. “Nigel is ideal for the position as he has experience of working with the breweries, of machine operation and of international sales. We are very pleased to welcome him on board.”

“I have known of Sound Leisure since my earliest days in the industry back at PCM and so I am thrilled to be part of the team,” says Nigel. “I even came on a course here when I was working for York Coin Leisure. In fact, it was a meeting with Chris at a Whitbreads reunion last year that led to me joining the company.

Sound Leisure is hugely respected as a market leader in the manufacture of jukeboxes and I look forward to building up some strong relationships with customers from all over the world and exploring new markets for these fantastic products.”
