Best ever EAG first day says Sega

23/01/2013

Justin Burke, General Manager of Sega was thrilled at the first day of the EAG show. “I can honestly say it was the best first day we have ever had at this show, which is saying something,” he told Coin-op Community. Sega has streamlined the number of lines that it distributes in the past year and the focus is clearly on quality. The range of Key Master prize vendors in rainbow colours looked particularly eye-catching on the stand and the redemption pieces Cut the Rope and Doodle Jump based on the hit phone and tablet Apps seemed to really capture visitor imagination.

There are other interesting redemption pieces on the stand too, including Milk Jug Toss, which is simple but effective. Virtua Tennis 4 in a new cabinet was one of the favourites of Toby Na Nakhorn, arcade player and  contributor to this website who said, “There were lots of surprises on the stand and the show was great!”

One new line that was added just before the show was the Chocolate Bar crane, “We signed the deal on Friday, so it is a last minute addition,” said Justin.

Finally, the range of TOKIO electronic prizes were also proving to be a hit for Sega. Check out the double SIM smartphone.
