Electrocoin is frozen out of ICE (but they’ll see you down the pub!)

09/01/2013

When Electrocoin were refused a stand at this year’s ICE exhibition in February, because of Excel enforcing their contract rules, they were understandably frustrated at not being able to see the customers they were certain would be attending.

That’s when Kevin Weir hatched a cunning plan and hired some rooms at the Fox pub next to the exhibition hall. Now, Electrocoin will take its machines to Excel and show them at the pub, which is quite fitting, as they include the Category C Vegas Strip digital compendium, which is performing extremely well in pubs all over the country.

“We will be at the EAG as usual and that’s great but not to be present at ICE when so many of our customers would be there, would be extremely detrimental for us as a company. As we had clearly reached a stalemate in negotiations, we felt that we had to look at another way to be there,” says Kevin. “We are now in discussions with some other companies who have also found themselves frozen out of ICE and we look forward to welcoming our customers to our very own private bar and showing them our latest developments.”

Electrocoin will keep its doors open at the Fox pub until around 7pm.
