Modularity is the key with GBA ST1

01/08/2012

Product range versatility is ever-increasing for Astrosystems, with the Global Bill Acceptor ST1 note validator having now inherited an amusement slant – thanks to a useful range of modular fitting kits.

In keeping with the variety of machine designs and operator preferences, the GBA ST1 is now capable of stacker orientation in no less than four directions. ST1 in its “standard” guise allows for up and down stacking, while ST1-H provides a solution in machines designed for horizontal note stacking. A further recent addition is ST1-T, with the note being inserted from directly above the validator – a unique innovation that is proving very popular in the crane machine and roulette sectors, where machine manufacturers require note acceptance to take place on a flat surface while maintaining an ergonomic, user-friendly note entry design.

With a variety of cashbox sizes available from 100 up to 1,000 notes, a lockable option for each, and a very reasonable price tag, ST1 is truly a note acceptor for any application. Leo Bateman, Sales Executive at AstroSystems, added: “The success of GBA ST1 is definitely rooted in its versatility and reliability, two attributes that ensure the customer gets excellent return on investment. With a long list of other benefits, including simple programming and cutting edge note discrimination techniques, ST1 is an excellent choice for not just the amusement sector, but many other areas besides.”
