FatSpanner To Manage All SWP Content for S&N

13/06/2012

In a first for the UK pub sector, FatSpanner has been awarded a two-year contract to manage the SWP content for Scottish & Newcastle Pub Company.

A number of SWP manufacturers were asked to tender for the contract, to demonstrate their visions of the SWP market for the next few years and to explore the opportunity of increasing the presence of the beer and cider brands of S&N Pub Company’s parent company Heineken, via the SWP media terminal.

“FatSpanner immediately understood what our vision was, and what was needed to achieve this,” says Sarah Barron, Machine Manager, Scottish & Newcastle Pub Company. “They showed a real grasp of the culture of Heineken, and the passion S&N Pub Company has for maximising the income of its lessees and driving change. The professional enthusiasm throughout their team resulted in the award of the two-year content management contract.”

S&N Pub Company currently has an estate in excess of 600 SWPs and plans to convert these to content management with a planned rollout programme over the course of the next 6-9 months.

“This will be a continually evolving partnership, but we are very excited to explore the potential opportunities and to see just what can be created within this unique relationship,” adds Sarah.

“We see this as an extremely progressive move by Sarah and the team at S&N Pub Company,” says Clive Barrett, CEO of FatSpanner. “We are very excited about the opportunities offered by this contract and want to welcome content suppliers new and old to bring forward their ideas; as we welcome with open arms the very best content wherever it comes from.”
