London AGC chooses Thomas PayStation

28/02/2012

Thomas Automatics, the Loughborough-based leading manufacturer of change machines, has announced that a major adult gaming centre (AGC) operator in the London area has selected the new Thomas PayStation with AutoPay functionality as part of a comprehensive program to increase cash security within their AGC operations in the UK

AutoPay dramatically increases security by moving the centre’s cash float out of the traditional cash desk and into the high security PayStation.  Hand pay-outs – currently managed manually by AGC staff – are now logged into the PayStation by the attendants, where a detailed payment audit trail is created and cash payments are issued directly to the player by PayStation.

Payment time is significantly reduced and cash desk employee visits to the AGC back office safe are eliminated, reducing opportunities for theft and miscalculations.  Empty hoppers and related hopper faults are also greatly reduced whilst player satisfaction is enhanced by the new system of swift and efficient cash prize payouts. The robust Thomas PayStation cabinet at the heart of the AutoPay system offers greatly improved cash security and protection for the entire operation.

The ThomasPay suite of automated transaction management solutions were simultaneously introduced at EAG and ICE in January this year and received resoundingly positive feedback.

ThomasPay includes AutoPay, TicketPay, and CardPay as well as server-based applications for centralised PayStation control, comprehensive loyalty and management utilities. There is also a built-in pathway to TITO operation and Epicentral promotional tools.  ThomasPay is geared for the future as well as for today’s market place.
