Getting customers to spend – a penny!

We couldn’t resist this bizarre product on the Sega Amusements Europe stand at EAG. It is designed to be fitted above a urinal and invites those relieving themselves to a “pee off” against the previous user. Gauging the force and length of the stream of urine the screen tells the user whether they have won or not! It also features product promotions and apparently has had an incredible boosting effect on sales of products within locations. Perhaps not the same boosting effect on men’s egos, as they empty their bladders.

Really, what will they think of next? We can only be grateful that the product was being demonstrated using a mannequin…
