Sega is getting ready for EAG

09/12/2011

Leading entertainment company Sega Amusements Europe has confirmed that the company’s preparations for EAG International Expo are well under way. Indeed, with a planned showing of more than 60 products of which 10 will debut at the show, and around 30 staff and partners in attendance, the company’s presentation is being organised with military precision.

With a global reputation for developing its own games, Sega Amusements expanded into distribution and support of a range of high quality products from other 3rd party manufacturers in recent years.

General Manager for Sega Amusements Europe Justin Burke explained the growth strategy saying: “We expanded into distribution three years ago and things have progressed rapidly to the point where we have been awarded many distributorships for leading global brands.”

Sega Amusements Europe’s portfolio now embraces product from Triotech, Pan Amusement and ICE, to name but a few.

Justin Burke is a fan of EAG International Expo, having already exhibited at the first two shows. “Sega Amusements Europe is involved with around 50 shows but EAG International Expo is really a breath of fresh air. We have found the location to be convenient, with good hotels and restaurants within walking distance. The show has been great for catching up with customers and meeting genuine new buyers,” he confirmed.

So what’s in store for visitors to the Sega Amusements Europe stand? Justin is enthusiastic about the company’s plans: “We’ll be showing new cranes and video redemption products and we’re very excited about Key Master, a prize vendor which tests players’ skills to the limit as they select prizes by manoeuvring a key into exactly the right spot. Key Master is very strong in the USA and has already generated a great deal of interest here.

“As well as our own games, we’ll be showing some really innovative products from the top-class manufacturers we represent. We’re expecting a great deal of interest in our new and growing merchandise range, building on the success of Victoria Cupcakes and Hello Kitty in 2011.

“As a company we’re totally focused on support so our spares and customer service team will be out in force to meet customers and deal with enquiries,” he promised.

EAG International Expo is expected to attract almost 6,000 visitors from the amusement, leisure, coin-op, parks and attractions industries. With products on display from over 150 manufacturers, a topical seminar programme and great networking opportunities, EAG International Expo is set to deliver a truly unmissable start to 2012.
