Sound Leisure in the classroom

17/08/2011

Sound Leisure is about to dispatch its first large shipment of flat panel speakers to Canada. These are not destined for bars or clubs but for classrooms throughout the country.

“We have worked long and hard on our range of flat panel speakers,” says Sound’s Chris Black. “Mostly we have sold them into leisure and retail venues, where they are ideal, as the sound is dispersed in such a way that the position is not critical, as it is with conventional cone speakers.

There is no need to angle the speakers to a specific direction, speaker height is of little importance, and they can be placed in any orientation or plane. Of course, this also makes them ideal to hang in classrooms, so that every child can hear clearly even at the back and where there is often very little available space for speaker installation. They even work well in portable classrooms.”

This order is just one of a many that has recently been successfully completed by Sound Leisure into a variety of different venues. In addition, the company has recently released a ceiling tile speaker that has also received great feedback.

“Hopefully these items will further promote the Sound Leisure brand into new markets and areas of the world,” concluded Chris Black.
