Nobles try again for Aberdeen Arcade

01/06/2011

The Noble Organisation is trying once again to open an amusement arcade on Union Street in Aberdeen.

The Gateshead-based operator had previous plans for an arcade in Union street rejected by councillors in 2005. However, the company appealed to the Scottish Government, which found in its favour, saying the plans for an arcade would, ““improve or at least maintain the vitality and viability” of Union Street.

The site is a former Mothercare store and Nobles plan to use the ground floor for an amusement arcade and the first floor for a tanning salon.
