bacta Win on Money Laundering Directive

Following many months of lobbying and submitting a detailed consultation response to HM Treasury in November last year, they have now published their response to the consultation on the transposition of the fourth anti-money laundering directive into UK law.

“HM Treasury has decided to exempt all gambling sectors from this directive which means that only remote and non-remote casinos will have to comply with the new Money Laundering Regulations which will be introduced in June 2017, which is a great result for our sector,” says bacta’s Chief Executive John White.
